I’ve been advising people about designing and using business cards effectively since 1999, but I never intended to get too involved in the world of business card printers.
But the more feedback I got from Bizcard Bulletin subscribers (my email newsletter, or ezine) and readers of “Business Card Breakthroughs” (my ebook about business cards), the more I felt compelled to add my own two cents worth.
So in May 2007 I decided to do what I could to simplify the confusing process of ordering business cards online. I went to both Yahoo! and Google, and typed in the phrase “business cards.” Then I took the top 10 results from each search engine, deleted those that did not offer full-color business cards or who were not actual printers, and started comparing.
The results are here:
- Business Card Printer Comparison Chart (PDF file, right-click and save to your computer)
- Visit my business card printer reviews page to read an explanation of what each column means, and how I arrived at the data.
- And the negative information about VistaPrint.com is explained at this link.
I hope this clarifies the process for you – if so, please tell your friends! You may print out and share the Business Card Printer Comparison Chart – and click on the next link if you would like fuller information about the business card printers I recommend.
Thanks for your interest – please, look around! Popular pages include the list of funny business cards – humorous taglines used on business cards.
